The handbook, Airmail of Siam, which covers the initial 25 years of the development of air mail service of Siam bears the subtitle: The build up and further development of Siam’s domestic and international airmail services in the 1920’s and 1930’s and the adjustments of these services during the WW2 years.

The handbook has been structured in five parts as follows:

    Part 1. Domestic airmail services.
Part 2. Mail-carrying individual long-distance flights and ‘goodwill mission’ flights
Part 3. Airmail services with international carriers 1928-1939.
Part 4. International airmail routes and services in the WW2 years.
Part 5. Airmail rates, stamps and labels. Appendices.

While the handbook is intended to cover the subject matter in a comprehensive way, due recognition is given to the fact that much remains to be further researched. Accordingly, particular attention has been paid to the provision of detailed references, in order to facilitate such further studies and research.
