An exceptional book combining history and philately. Fills in a gap in Portuguese airmail relative to the military aerogrammes used during the war between Portugal and the old foreign provinces. First part of book tells the history of the Military Postal Service during this period, with 236 illustrations. Second part is a catalogue of the aerogrammes with 361 illustrations.
