November 8^th, 2002

• Vickie Canfield Peters has assumed the responsibilities as Advertising Manager for the Airpost Journal.
• The table of contents of the November Issue of the Airpost Journal is now available.
• A correction to Page 2 of the U.S. Air Mail Stamp Album has been posted. If you downloaded the album before November 8th, 2002, you will need to download (121k) this correction to Page 2 (the first page with stamps). The space for the 24c issue of 1923 incorrectly showed the 24c issue of 1918. Sorry for the inconvenience.
• The tentative AAMS Schedule of Events for ARIPEX 2003 has been posted.
• The calendar of Future AAMS Conventions and Meetings is now on-line.

November 4^th, 2002

• Please remember to vote in this month’s poll - “Do you like the design of the 2003 Wright Brothers stamp?” If you haven’t seen the design, click here. If you have ideas for future poll questions, please let me know.
• Upon popular demand, we’ve added a guestbook to the site. Please feel free to sign-in and let us know what you think of the site.
• A link to Major Ted’s Stamp Talk on internet radio has been added. You can hear Ted Bahry’s show live every Saturday at 12 noon Pacific Time (3 pm Eastern). Also each week’s show is archived it can heard at any time on request.
• Several  links have been either added or updated. Look for the graphic.
• A new section for links to Philatelic Societies has been added.
• The Publications Order Form is now available in PDF Format, and problems with printing the HTML version have been corrected.

October 10^th, 2002

• The U.S. Postal Service unvalued the design for the Wright Brothers Anniversary stamp to be issued next year.
• The table of contents of the October issue of the Airpost Journal is now available.
• A new Membership Application has been added in PDF format.
• New web site features:
• A new Message Board has been added to the site.
• Please don’t forget to cast your vote in the new AAMS monthly poll!
• The ability to Search the AAMS Web Site has been added.

September 30^th, 2002

• FAM22 and East Bound Mail to Europe, an article by Sam Pezzillo that you will find ONLY on the AAMS web site has been posted.
• The AAMS mailing list is now active. SIGN-UP now to receive updates on the AAMS and the AAMS web site.

September 19^th, 2002

• ARIPEX/AAMS Dinner Announced.
• A display by members of the American Air Mail Society was presented to the Royal Philatelic Society in London on May 9th, 2002.

September 12^th, 2002

• Members Auction #221 is now listed on the site (Closes on October 22nd).
• Additional information on the next AAMS Convention at ARIPEX 2003 has been added
• The Awards Criteria have been updated to include AmeriStamp Expo.
