• Preliminary information about the Aerophilately 2007 Exhibition including the prospectus and exhibitor’s application is now available.
• The NOJEX 2007 prospectus and exhibitor’s application is now available for download in PDF format.
• The listing for January’s AAMS Auction (#243) is now available online in PDF format. This is a mail sale and closes on January 15, 2007.

• Hotel information for the 2007 Annual Convention to be held at NOJEX, Secaucus, NJ May 25-27, 2007 is now available.

• Congratulations to Patrick Walters for winning the AAMS Grand Award at the Fall Meeting at Southeastern Stamp Show in Marietta, GA. His exhibit “United States Government Flights (1918-1927)” also won the show grand award and the APS Medal of Excellence 1900-1940.

September 4, 2006

• The schedule of events for the AAMS Fall Meeting at South Eastern Stamp Show (Marietta, GA, September 22-24) has been posted.
• The Table of Contents for the September issue of the Airpost Journal is now available.

August 13, 2006

• The $5 annual dues increase that was part overall package to allow The Airpost Journal to be printed in color and approved by the AAMS Board at Washington has been deferred until January 1^st.
• Details on the AAMS Dinner to be held during the AAMS Fall Meeting in Marietta Georgia have been announced.

• Please note that the AAMS publications Air Mail Operations During World War II, A Study of Routes, Rates, and Markings by Thomas H. Boyle, Jr. and OAT and AV2 Markings by Murray Heifetz are sold out and no longer available from the AAMS.

• The prospectus for the Southeastern Stamp Show is now available on their site. The AAMS will be holding the Fall Meeting there on September 22-24.

January 1, 2006

• Hotel details have been posted for the AAMS Convention (May 31-June 2) to be held during Washington 2006 (May 27 - June 3).
• Volunteers are needed to help staff the AAMS table at Washington 2006. Please contact Convention Coordinator Ken Sanford if you can help.
• The AAMS has made its awards available to the Rocky Mountain Stamp Show for 2006. The prospectus for the May 19-21 show is now available on the ROMPEX website.
• The U.S. Postal Service has announced that they will issue three new airmail stamps to meet the changing international rates early next year.
• News for 2005 has been archived.
• The AAMS Officers listing for 2006-2007 has been updated.
• The site search function has been temporarily removed. It will be online shortly as soon as some technical details are resolved. Sorry for the inconvenience.
