- BEIJING 2009 AEROPEX is a special airmail exhibition and has been sanctioned by
FISA. The show will be held Novemeber 12-16, 2009 at the China National Post and Postage Stamp Museum in Beijing, China. The application deadline is October 10th and more information is available here.

- AAMS Member’s Auction #258 is now available online. It is a mail-only auction and closes on November 30, 2009.

- Congratulations to Jim Graue for winning the AAMS Grand Award and Show Reserve Grand Award at the AAMS Fall Meeting held at BALPEX 2009 with his exhibit German North Atlantic Catapult Airmail 1929-1935.
- AAMS Director Jeff Shapiro has asked to step down from the Board of Directors and the Board has selected Jim Graue to complete Jeff’s term.
- The President has appointed, and the Board of Directors has approved, Jim Graue becoming Editor-in-Chief of the American Air Mail Catalogues.
