Passengers boxer Max Schmeling and his trainer Max Machon posted this card aboard on the westbound flight 33, but it was held to postmark on the return flight because of the Austria destination; 65 pf postcard rate. Schmeling flew twice on Hindenburg that summer. The first time he flew back to Germany after defeating Joe Lewis in June. Schmeling's autograph increases the value of the card,
