Card written on board by passenger William Scholl (of "Dr. Scholl" foot orthotics fame) during the final flight leg from Lakehurst to Friedrichshafen. Scholl booked last-minute passage on the LZ 127 in order to execute business contracts with several of his European distributors. Scholl is throught to have been the Graf Zeppelin's first commercial (versus sightseeing) passenger.
