Eighty Kilograms of post (7,145 cards and 6,697 letters) were hauled aboard the LZ 127 at Vaduz, Liechtenstein, and dropped over Lausanne, Switzerland. Liechtenstein mail was canceled with a circular red flight cachet depicting the airship in flight. A circular Vaduz, Liechtenstein transit marking was also applied, of which there are five distinct varieties. The item depicted here shows the Type 1 transmit mark.
