This cover was likely postmarked aboard by Kurt Schoenherr, one of the Hindenburg postmasters. It is autographed by first officer Albert Sammt, who later survived the Hindenburg disaster. At right is a colorful, cropped baggage label attached to the cover before dispatch. The destination is Mexico. Further adding to the multiple aspects of this piece of mail are the message and signature by Schoenherr on the reverse.
