Shifting “.” period to right variety in the onboard cancel. Passenger Cuthbert Hague purchased the card and stamps onboard to send a greeting that claimed “no movement or sensation. Making 85 m.p.h.” The onboard mail slot was on the side of the wall bookcase in the Reading and Writing Room. The onboard postmaster picked up the mail and took it to the post room above the control car to apply the cancel.
