The blocks of four stamps add to the value of this onboard return flight cover that had been requested under cover to the Frankfurt railway post office 19. The cover probably flew the round trip from Germany to Brazil in order to have the return flight onboard marking. This return leg was the second leg of the flight following a brief landing at Recife to pick up 238 kg of mail. Max Pruss was in command with 56 crew members and 29 passengers aboard, who could post onboard mail in person.
