U.S. Navy airship officer Charles E. Rosendahl mailed this postcard in the Reading and Writing Room mailbox during the flight. He mentions returning from Rio, obviously via Germany. The Hindenburg postmaster canceled the picture postcard of a sleeping room and added the round flight cachet.
