The sender used a full set of the summer Olympic stamps to mail this envelope to the United States. Stamp dealer Albert Roessler printed the orange cachet for the previous flight. Ernst Lehmann commanded the flight with 53 crew members, 1 Zeppelin Company employee, and 40 passengers. The flight carried 135 kg of mail plus mail posted aboard by passengers and crew. This example was canceled at the Frankfurt railway post office 19 before being put aboard for the flight.
