Notes
Max Pruss commanded the test flight for the 1937 Airworthiness Certificate. 55 crew members, 12 Zeppelin Company staff members, and 65 passengers were aboard. The flight carried 2 kg of mail plus mail posted by those aboard. This example was handled at the Frankfurt railway post office 19 in advance of the flight and carried in a sealed mail bag. The manuscript request for an Udet flight is inaccurate. The addressee is stamp dealer Hermann Sieger.
