The airship flew to Meiningen on the first weekend of July 1939, making a landing at an air show there. Although there was no mail flown on the flight, air show attendees could obtain a commemorative landing cancellation that was applied to post cards and envelopes at the airfield. The cancellation, as shown here, was dated July 2, 1939 and featured an image of the airship over Meiningen's Classical Theatre.
