The LZ 130 continued its summer air show tour with a July 9, 1939 visit to the Leipzig-Mockau airfield, where it was met by a crowd estimated at 100,000. Mail carried on the flight received a flight cachet featuring the Leipzig Coat of Arms, applied in various shades ranging from red to red-lilac. Upon its arrival, mail received a landing cachet showing the zeppelin over Leipzig's Neues Rathaus and the People's War Memorial.
