LZ 11 Viktoria Luise

The longest-serving DELAG airship, Viktoria Luise flew sightseeing routes in 1912–1914, carried over 9,000 passengers, and operated the world’s first airborne post office.  Pre-July 1912 mail was air dropped; mail drops were banned after opening of post office on July 17, 1912.
